Questions

Pizza Oven Size Questions

What size pizza oven do I need for my home?

Most homes choose between the Standard (700 mm inside) and Grande (800 mm inside) DIY or mobile ovens. Choose the Superior (900 mm inside) if you regularly cook for larger groups. If space is tight, the countertop ovens take up 640 mm × 920 mm.

What size base do I need for a DIY pizza oven?

Our recommended tabletop sizes are 1.0 m × 1.0 m for the Standard, 1.1 m × 1.1 m for the Grande and 1.2 m wide × 1.3 m deep for the Superior, each about 1.1 m high. Fire & Dine does not build stands, so your builder makes the base to these sizes.

Which ovens suit a restaurant or lodge?

The Premium Pre-Fabricato and Forno Neapolitan ranges are built for commercial kitchens, with inner diameters from 800 mm up to 1,500 mm. The Steel Oven, in three sizes, is listed with our commercial ovens too.

How heavy is a pizza oven?

Home ovens weigh roughly 145 to 230 kg. Commercial ovens range from 280 kg to about 2 tons for the Forno Maestro, so plan access and lifting before delivery.
